DETAILS

Material: Solid cedar / pine - antique hand-painted reddish-brown sponge + mottled finish - natural cedar interior

Style: Primitive folk art footed blanket chest / hope chest / trunk - 4 turned ball bun feet - Mennonite / Lane-style

Era: Early 1900s - all original, untouched - no refinishing

Condition : Exterior very clean - original sponge paint. Lid has a few white water stains. One small hinge chip on back corner - wood chip included for easy repair. All wood + original hardware included, left all original for collector. Interior natural cedar - clean and dry.

Height: 22.5" total - 18" trunk body + 5" ball foot height
