Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our team at Riverbend Grill and provide excellent service to our guests. In this role, you will greet customers, take food and beverage orders accurately, and ensure that each guest has a positive dining experience. You will be responsible for serving food and drinks promptly, maintaining cleanliness standards, and supporting team members during busy periods. Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit.
Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, Toast.
Process sales transactions efficiently, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.
Serve food and beverages promptly while following proper etiquette for alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks.
Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to sanitation standards.
Assist in food handling or preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff during busy times.
Address guest requests or dietary needs professionally to enhance guest relations.
Support team members in creating a lively atmosphere during peak hours.
Ensure compliance with food safety protocols and sanitation practices.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Knowledge of POS systems is advantageous.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently during high-volume periods.
Basic math skills for processing payments accurately.
Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation procedures.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude.
