$4k invested. Virtually new, ridden less than a mile to dial everything in. Never off pavement.
I purchased a brand new titanium Live Wire hardtail frame from Lynskey Performance Bicycles with the intention of building an old school mountain bike with current elements.
MEDIUM FRAME
27.5 / 650B Shimano XT wheels/hubs
Over time, I purchased ALL NEW parts including Shimano XT 27.5 650b wheels / rims (not 29er), Shimano XT 1x12 drive with 36 tooth front ring, XT hydraulic disc brakes, titanium seat post, Fox 34 suspension shock, WTB Volt Pro saddle, FSA headset, Continental TUBELESS (set up) tires, cushioning rubber chain stay protector (last photo), and the list goes on. Sources of parts were Lynskey, Jensen USA, Performance Bicycles, ebay, and Amazon.
Ultimately, I ended up having a local bike shop assemble at a cost of $250 and everything is dialed in. A comparable bike from Moot, Lite Speed, etc. will run $6k -$7k. I am selling this for FAR LESS THAN what I have spent. Lynskey seems to push Sram and will not build a 27.5 / 650b, so I did it myself. I have more than $4,000 invested. You won’t replicate this bike for less!
I am not interested in losing money and will keep it if it doesn’t sell. NO LOWBALL OFFERS. I am NOT DESPERATE. Titanium will last for decades or longer! Much more compliant ride than carbon fiber! And it looks very trick!!
The owners of Lynskey started and sold Lite Speed before starting Lynskey…look them up.
Cash and carry ONLY from northern Peoria AZ very close to location pin on CL map.
May consider trading toward (I also pay cash) Honda Talon, Teryx, Yamaha RMax, YXZ, Can Am, Beta or KTM enduro (with headlight). NOT Giant, Specialized, Pivot, Moot, Seven, Litespeed, KHS, Trek…
