Do you own a chainsaw and can safely use it? This furnished studio duplex apartment with king size bed, kitchen, and bathroom is on a farm. Non-profit may pay SOME of the rent if you can volunteer with clearing fences of Helene trees. 300 acre farm with forest trails, creeks, fish pond stocked with bass and bluegill (yes, fishing is allowed). Easy access only half a mile off the 4 lane. Ample parking for a vehicle plus space to park a small tool trailer or motorcycle trailer. Please find the area on a map before contacting. It is about an hour outside Asheville between Burnsville and Spruce Pine. Garden spot available if you want. Chickens ok if you have a coop to keep them, just no roosters. Pets must be pre-approved. Pet fee may apply. First month's rent plus $1000 deposit due before moving in. No drugs. If you've read this far and have a local job or remote income job or some kind of legal income and can afford the rent, you're also welcome to apply. Fence clearing is not a requirement if you pay full rent. Gig internet is on and ready.
