Maintenance Person — Horse Hospital (Patterson, NY)
We're looking for a reliable, hands-on maintenance person to join our equine veterinary hospital team in Patterson, NY. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys varied outdoor and physical work and is comfortable being around horses.
Responsibilities:
• General facility maintenance and repairs (buildings, fencing, equipment)
• Lawn care and grounds upkeep
• Barn work, including cleaning and maintaining stalls
• Cleaning and upkeep of office/administrative spaces
• Basic equipment maintenance (mowers, tractors, generators, etc.)
• Assisting with seasonal tasks (snow removal, storm cleanup, etc.)
What we're looking for:
• Experience with general maintenance, groundskeeping, or facility work
• Comfort working around horses (prior barn/farm experience a plus, not required)
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Willing to do physical work outdoors in all seasons
• Valid driver's license
