Growing moving and storage company is hiring a hands-on Warehouse Manager to run our 10,000 sq ft storage warehouse and support daily operations. This is not a desk job. You'll be on the floor, in the trucks, and in the mix with our crews every day.
Russian, Ukrainian, Serbian or Polish speakers a plus
What you'll do:
Manage the warehouse: storage vaults, inventory tracking, receiving and dispatching pallets, keeping the floor clean and organized
Load, unload, and stage customer goods, including repeated lifting of boxes and items around 75 lbs
Support dispatch and operations: prepping trucks, equipment, and supplies for the crews
Drive company vehicles for local deliveries and pickups as needed (NY/NJ)
Handle basic repairs and upkeep on the warehouse, equipment, and trucks
Step in wherever the day needs you
What we need:
Prior moving and/or storage experience (required)
Valid driver's license with a clean record
Physically fit: this job involves lifting, carrying, and being on your feet all day
Handy: comfortable with tools, basic repairs, and figuring things out
Strong organizational skills: you keep track of what's where and nothing gets lost
Flexible schedule, including early mornings, long days, and some weekends during busy season
Reliable, punctual, and takes ownership
