The French Orangerie square planter box is studied after the historic Versailles planter box, yet visually presents a lighter and more delicate appearance. Popular throughout Paris in the 18th and 19th centuries, these French-style square planters were often arranged in pairs to flank the grand entrance doors of elegant townhouses, often planted with citrus trees, bay laurels, or sculpted topiaries. HANDCRAFTED from durable 5mm gauge aluminum. Each planter is detailed with finely raised panels, corner posts crowned with a French finial, and finished with a distinctive brass logo on the front and back. The fixed-panel construction underscores its lighter appearance, while the base is fitted with an aluminum grid for proper drainage and aeration.
