QR Code Link to This Post
Excellent gift for any budding virtuoso - like new condition. Wonderful clarinet that I hardly had time to play. At 74 years old I'm concentrating on my saxophones. Bought this clarinet new. Played very little. Priced at $500 cash. Lists for $1465 on Amazon.
To ease any safety concerns, the transaction will be conducted at the Palm Bay Police parking lot's designated Safe Exchange Zone, (clearly marked) 130 Malabar Rd, Palm Bay, FL 32907. Located behind Palm Bay City Hall - follow parking signs, keep going around back of the City Hall to the Police Department building and the exchange zone. Thank you.
More info from Backun's sales:
This is the Backun Alpha B-flat clarinet with the upgraded silver plated keywork that won’t wear down like traditional nickel plating. This model also has an alternate key to play Ab/Eb with the left hand making some technical passages easier to play. Synthetic body makes it perfect for hot humid and wet, or cold, or dry conditions when you don't have to worry about any cracking, shrinking, or swelling like on wooden instruments. This instrument comes with a Protege mouthpiece (the standard included mouthpiece with the Alpha), with Rovner style ligature, and a Legere synthetic reed (2.25 strength).
The Alpha clarinet is crafted from an ideal blend of synthetic material for maximum resonance and durability. Designed as the optimal indoor or outdoor clarinet, it is at home in the classroom, on the concert stage, or on the marching field.
With its stable, resonant, and lightweight synthetic body, water-resistant black Valentino pads, durable and ergonomic keywork, and adjustable thumb rest with neck strap ring, many hours of enjoyable practice and performance are ahead.
