This is a custom-built box trailer originally manufactured in the 1930s. The original Ford Model A axle was replaced in 2004 with a front axle from a 1966 Dodge D200 3/4-ton pickup. The wheels have 8 lug nuts and the lug nuts on the right side have reverse threads (counter clockwise to tighten, clockwise to loosen). Wheel bearings were given new grease and grease seals within the past month. New floor and sides were added in 2024. The floor is 1-1/8 inch plywood and covered with a waterproof coating. Running lights, brake lights, and turn signals all work. The trailer is licensed with a permanent California DMV registration, so no registration fees are needed each year. The tires have substantial tread remaining.
