Hi, I'm a bass player and occasional piano player, in a rehab in Oroville for at least 3 months. I've spoken with the Director about starting a small group here to help the 3 of us who are musicians spend our spare time musically, and teach others some basics. We're bass guitar, electric/ acoustic guitar, and a keyboardist.
I'm trying to find cheap or free instruments, amps, mics, stands, cables (can be ancient, as long as they'll work - we can't fix stuff here) and a mini PA/speaker setup to get us going. They can be old and/or small, just functional. if you have any spare stuff, please contact me. It will stay here when our guys' program of 1 to 12 months is completed, for future musicians to enjoy.
