This retired fire truck is a very low mileage (12,000 original miles) chassis with decent tires, good glass, and a 1,200 gallon tank. We used the truck to transport water for new trees. The Vanguard motor on the transfer pump would push 75 PSI at over 100 gallons per minute or 125 PSI through the smaller hose. The 1-inch nozzle on the small hose can adjust from a wide fan to a narrow stream and will shoot water over 100 feet. The doors still close like a new truck. Now for the bad: I never could get the carburetor working right. I'm pretty sure it's due to a vacuum leak not a problem with the actual carburetor. The brakes worked marginally a few times when I first got the truck and they don't work at all now. If you can rebuild the rear wheel cylinders it should get the brakes working again. It probably needs a new battery. Do not plan on driving this truck home. Bring a trailer. I can help load.
