Mid-80s JVC system. L-A100 turntable, KD-V11J cassette deck, T-K10 tuner, A-K10 amplifier

I plugged everything in and all powered up. Problems I know about:
1) Turntable - The drive belt is broken but the motor does run; I assume the needle is junk but can’t test it.
2) Tuner - powers up fine but the tuning indicator doesn’t move. The dial felt a little stiff when I tried it and then moved very easily but the actual indicator won’t move. I can’t tell if the tuning is actually changing or not.
