Selling a highly collectible, beautiful Guild Grafonola Model 785 Radio/Phonograph console. Produced by the Guild Radio & Television Co. in the late 1950s, this gorgeous conversation piece was designed to look like a classic antique wind-up gramophone, but features a fully electric tube-amplified chassis.This is the rare, highly sought-after 8-tube predecessor version (superior to the later, stripped-down 7-tube models).

Key Features & Specs:Cabinet & Design: Beautiful square wood table-style cabinet standing on four elegant baluster legs. Features a striking, removable morning glory speaker horn on top.The "Crank" Tuner: A clever design choice by Guild—the hand crank on the side actually acts as the tuning dial for the AM radio.Phonograph:

Built-in 4-speed automatic record changer (plays 16, 33, 45, and 78 RPM vinyl).Approx. Dimensions: 43.5" Tall (to top of the horn), 17.5" Wide, 17.75" Deep. (Legs and horn unscrew for easy transport).

Condition:Cosmetic: In great cosmetic shape. The wood cabinet, morning glory horn, and legs are very well-preserved. Excellent display piece as-is.

Functional/Electronic: Untested. I do not know how to operate the unit, so it has never been plugged in or electronically tested.

Tubes: The vacuum tubes are currently uninstalled, but all of them are included with the purchase.Sold strictly as-is for a premium restoration project or a stunning mid-century statement piece.
