Position: Fire Sprinkler Designer
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: 2+ years preferred
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing fire sprinkler systems, preparing technical drawings, performing hydraulic calculations, and ensuring designs comply with applicable fire protection codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Design fire sprinkler systems for commercial, residential, industrial, and other building projects.
• Prepare detailed sprinkler shop drawings using AutoCAD and/or fire protection design software.
• Perform hydraulic calculations and pipe sizing.
• Select appropriate sprinkler heads, valves, piping, fittings, and system components.
• Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for coordination.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable NFPA standards and local fire codes.
• Prepare material schedules, design calculations, and submittal packages.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, project managers, and installation teams.
