Midwest Global Solutions, LLC is seeking a Systems Analyst based out of its office in Omaha, NE (may telecommute from home residence anywhere in the U.S. up to 100% of the time). Position duties: Analyze existing systems and business models. Identify options for potential solutions and assess them for both technical and business suitability. Liaise with users to track additional requirements and features. Document system requirements and define scope and objectives. Design, test, install, and monitor new systems. Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information. Collaborate with IT and business teams to resolve issues. Train and support users on new systems and functionalities. Implement and configure software applications. Conduct regular reviews of systems and generate improvement recommendations. Develop test plans and conduct system testing.
Position requires a bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent accepted) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related information technology field and 2 years’ experience in analyzing business requirements and system application flows including the following:
• Experience with a variety of programming languages and database management systems.
• Experience with system integration and troubleshooting.
• Proven experience as a Systems Analyst or similar role.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud computing and cybersecurity principles.
• Solid knowledge of various information systems and IT infrastructures.
• Ability to explain complex processes to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in system analysis and design.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology and user requirements.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies.
• Strong understanding of business processes and operations.
• Project management skills.
