These scissors have one blunt tip and one sharp tip, making it easy to get into small spaces and cut tough tissue. These are not "medical" scissors but perform well on tissue - These are 5 and a quarter inches long, steel implements - new are about $6. ($54) I have 9 pair- all for fifteen dollars. This is the kind frequently used in classrooms. The great for camping use to cut cooking items. I also have three pair of classroom "Lefty" scissors that I will throw in- 12pr for $15 pretty good.
