Olney Ale House is looking for a reliable, organized, and motivated person to join our team for an evening Assistant Manager position. This is a hands-on role combining hosting, managing the evening shift, and closing the restaurant.
Responsibilities include:
* Greeting and seating guests while managing the waitlist
* Overseeing evening operations and assisting staff as needed
* Helping maintain a smooth flow between the host stand, servers, and management
* Handling guest questions and resolving customer concerns
* Completing nightly closing duties and ensuring the restaurant is properly secured
* Making sure the restaurant is clean, organized, and ready for the next business day
* Leading by example and helping maintain a positive team environment
What we’re looking for:
* Previous restaurant or bar experience preferred
* Strong organizational and communication skills
* Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working independently
* Someone who can balance customer service with leadership and closing responsibilities
* Availability for evening shifts, 6 days a week, including late-night hours
