Beautiful antique heavy wood exterior entry door with original-style period (1910–1935) hardware intact.

Features vintage Russwin mortise lock and keyed cylinder, ornate thumb-latch entry handle, interior wood knob, heavy hinges, and an unusual two-sided lion “speakeasy” security grille/door viewer with hinged interior privacy cover.

Lion grille features rampant lions, heraldic crest and original aged patina.

Door measures approximately 35¾"W × 78¾"H × 1¾" thick

Door shows normal wear, scratches and finish aging consistent with its age. I have intentionally not refinished or polished the antique hardware.


History:
This door appears to date from the early 20th century, likely around the 1910s–1930s, based on its heavy construction, mortise-lock hardware and decorative fittings. It retains vintage Russwin lock hardware and a distinctive heraldic lion “speakeasy” grille/door viewer, a style popular during the Tudor and Old World Revival era. The previous owner said the door was salvaged from old military-base housing in the Spokane area, although I have no documentation confirming the exact building or location. An unusual piece of Spokane-area architectural history with a lot of original character still intact.
