I am looking for someone with HVAC experience to perform preventive maintenance and cleaning on approximately **40–50 PTAC hotel units**.
This is a temporary project paid **per completed unit**.
### Scope Per Unit
- Remove PTAC chassis from wall sleeve as needed for proper servicing
- Remove dust, lint, leaves, and debris from unit and sleeve
- Clean evaporator and condenser coils
- Clean blower wheel, fan blades, and accessible fan housing
- Clean condensate/drain pan and clear drain openings
- Apply approved condensate pan treatment tablet
- Clean washable filter and identify filters requiring replacement
- Straighten bent coil fins where practical
- Inspect wall sleeve for rust, damage, alignment, and proper drainage/pitch
- Inspect accessible wiring, plug, controls, corrosion, vibration, and unusual noise
- Reinstall PTAC correctly
- Test fan, cooling, and heating operation
- Flag any unit requiring repair, parts, or replacement
### Compensation
**$15 per completed unit**
Approximately **40–50 units**
Major repairs or additional HVAC work are **not included** in the per-unit price and would be discussed separately.
### Ideal Candidate
HVAC schooling, apprenticeship, maintenance, installation, or service experience preferred.
Must be dependable, able to work independently, and willing to perform thorough preventive maintenance rather than simply changing filters.
Please send a short note describing your HVAC/PTAC experience and availability.
