Lead Carpenter
North Cove Construction is growing! Seeking a skilled, hands-on Lead Carpenter for high-end remodeling projects.
Position Description
• Lead daily jobsite work alongside the remodeling crew.
• Guide carpenters, maintain quality, and help resolve jobsite challenges.
• Perform rough and finish carpentry tasks.
• Interpret plans, specifications, and layouts.
• Coordinate with management, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Plan materials and tools, report progress, and flag scheduling issues or unexpected conditions.
• Maintain safe, clean, organized jobsites; protect occupied homes, finishes, and property.
Position Requirements
• Proven experience in residential remodeling and carpentry.
• Crew leadership and jobsite coordination experience.
• Attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications and identify clarification needs.
• Dependability, clear communication, and professionalism.
• Safe work practices knowledge.
• Must provide your own tools and reliable transportation to CT River Shoreline Area jobsites.
• Basic understanding of all residential construction trades, from start to finish.
• Ability to work effectively with all trades and understand their roles in construction.
Position Details
• Full-time, Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays. Very competitive pay, paid vacation, holidays, and annual bonus.
