Hemco Electrical Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Project Manager to join our Central Florida team.
The primary focus of this position is managing commercial electrical projects from turnover through final closeout. Electrical estimating experience is a strong plus, particularly for reviewing project scope, pricing change orders, and controlling costs, but it is not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage commercial electrical projects from estimator turnover through final completion and closeout
Review contracts, project scope, estimates, plans, specifications, exclusions, and schedules
Coordinate project requirements with general contractors, owners, engineers, vendors, superintendents, and foremen
Manage submittals, RFIs, procurement, material releases, equipment lead times, and project documentation
Develop and maintain project schedules and manpower plans with field leadership
Track labor hours, material costs, subcontractors, equipment rentals, committed costs, and overall job profitability
Review job-cost reports and identify potential cost overruns before they become major problems
Prepare, price, submit, negotiate, and track change orders
Attend project meetings and visit jobsites as required
Assist with monthly billing, schedule of values, and project financial reporting
Manage punch-list work, as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, and project closeout
Handle multiple commercial projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining accurate documentation
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum five years of verifiable commercial electrical project management experience
Strong understanding of commercial electrical construction, field operations, and installation methods
Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work
Proven experience managing labor budgets, material procurement, schedules, change orders, and job costs
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
Strong organization, communication, leadership, and follow-through
Ability to work independently and make timely project decisions
Professional communication with customers, general contractors, field employees, and vendors
Valid driver’s license and ability to visit projects throughout Central Florida
Orlando or Central Florida commercial construction experience is preferred
EXPERIENCE THAT IS A PLUS
Commercial electrical estimating experience
Experience with Bluebeam, Fieldwire, or electrical estimating software
Experience preparing detailed change order proposals
Existing knowledge of the Central Florida commercial construction market
This is a full-time, office-based position with regular project-site visits.
Compensation: $100,000–$125,000 annually, depending on experience. Benefits package will be discussed during the interview.
