We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Shop Helper to join our window restoration shop.
Basic experience is required in some of the following areas:
• Basic carpentry
• Woodworking
• Surface preparation
• Painting and finishing
• Working with hand and power tools
The job includes assisting with wood window and sash restoration, sanding, minor wood repairs, surface preparation, priming, painting, finishing, and general shop work.
Experience with finish carpentry, wood repair, painting, or wood finishing is a plus.
Requirements:
• Basic hands-on experience with carpentry, woodworking, surface preparation, and/or painting/finishing
• Comfortable working with hand and power tools
• Reliable and dependable
• Willing to learn and work as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license
• English communication skills!!!
Pay: $180–$200 per day, depending on skills and experience.
Location: Oceanside, NY
