We are looking for a general laborer here at Marks Metal Recycling in Ocala. The primary functions of the jo are to help customers sort material and help them load it onto the scales. You will also be expected to properly sort the material into the appropriate bins after purchase and maintain a clean work area around the scales.
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Scale Operator Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping customers moving, storing, and organizing materials in the scale area while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment and walkways for employees and customers.
Responsibilities:
Move, load, unload, and stage materials in the scale area.
Follow all safety procedures and warehouse guidelines.
Perform general warehouse duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Previous general labor experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to safety and detail.
Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic.
Compensation:
Starting pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
