Part-Time Farm Helper / Partner (Long-Term Opportunity)
We are looking for a reliable, long-term part-time helper/partner to be part of a growing vegetable and small-scale animal farm. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on outdoor work and wants to grow with a small farm operation.
Job Duties May Include:
• Fence repair and general handyman-type repairs
• Repair and upkeep of animal pens
• General farm maintenance and property upkeep
• Planting, harvesting, and basic garden care
• Feeding and caring for animals
• Other day-to-day farm chores as needed
• Basic handyman tasks and property maintenance
Ideal Candidate:
• Someone who enjoys working on a farm and wants to use their talent to help a small grow and flourish
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable working outside in Florida weather
• Basic handyman skills preferred
• Able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor
• Experience with farms or animals is a plus (but willing to train the right person)
Schedule:
Typically 4–6 hours per day, 2 days per week (most weeks). Some flexibility may be needed depending on seasonal farm needs.
Compensation:
Flat day rate preferred (rather than hourly or per task), as farm work varies in difficulty and pace depending on experience and skill level. Rate will be discussed and agreed upon based on ability and experience.
