Overview
Up for sale is a clean, well-maintained 2008 Generac generator (Model #0055029 / Serial #5663167). It has been installed at a single-family home with light use (infrequent outages 1–2 times a year for a few hours). Total estimated run time—including automatic weekly self-tests—is only around 200 to 300 hours. Runs on synthetic oil, does not burn oil, and produces strong power. Selling only because I am reconfiguring my home power setup.

Condition Note
The unit runs beautifully, but it has an occasional starting issue when calling for power: upon startup, it occasionally over-revs briefly and shuts down on an overspeed fault. Holding brief manual tension on the governor linkage during start bypasses this issue entirely. Once up to speed, it purrs like a kitten and generates steady power.
Note: Transfer switch is NOT included. Cold-start heating elements (oil filter/battery heater wrap) are not included by default, but can be negotiated if needed.
