AT AWCS we use Formica Brand Laminate and Wilsonart Laminate.
Each of these two laminate brands offer three different grades of Laminate,
1. Standard Laminate, mostly solid colors and smooth matt finish.
2. Premium Laminate, lots of colors and designs, smooth matt finish.
3. HD/FX Laminate, lots of colors and designs, usually a textured finish.
All of these laminate tops, you have 6 choices of the edge profile.
Least expensive to most expensive,
A Square edge profile,
flat face, the only edge profile that can have a rounded corner.
B. Clipped edge profile, this edge profile can have square or 45-degree corner.
Top edge with 45-degree bevel & flat face.
C. Designer edge profile, this edge profile can have square or 45-degree corner.
There are 4 designer edge profiles available. All the same prices.
1. 2011 series edge profile, smooth round over profile.
2. 2012 series edge profile, 45 degree with round over bottom.
3. 2014 series edge profile, smooth top and bottom round over.
4. 2015 series edge profile, fancy scalloped edge profile.
Countertop construction, two choices.
1. MDF construction, the standard top construction, is the least expensive.
2. Plywood construction, best top construction, is the most expensive.
For a Laminate countertop quote, we need exact dimensions for your quote.
If you have just a straight run countertop, measure end to end.
If you have a sink in the countertop, will you be installing the sink DIY.
DIY sink hole cutting and installation, (least expensive way)
Do you want an undermount sink in the top quote,
This must be templated. (extra cost)
Is your top L shape, 45-degree corner, special shape, etc.,
This must be Templated. (extra cost)
