I am a licensed small engine mechanic, retired and enjoy working on chainsaws. PLEASE read the entire posting. I answer all FAQ's, OUR time has value. Deal with confidence; deal with the Chainsaw Dr. NOTE: I delete upon sale.
I am stacked up and in need of space. I have a couple of hard shell cases that are in the way. IF you take your saw into the Woods, up to Camp, in the back of the truck......a water-proof protective case keeps everything together...tools, chains, etc.
The newer Stihl "Woodsman" Hard Case, sells @ 100, without a scabbard. This case is the older version, with scabbard, and the replaceable HD hinges. Fits ALL Stihls. $50.
The Black Case is labelled Poulan, and shares the same features as the Stihl unit. It too will hold any saw., and has the HD hinges, and lock-in scabbard. $50 FIRM.
The Black case came in with a Poulan PRO 42cc/18" machine. Model PP4218A. The date shows it is 5 yrs. old. The photos show it to be spotless. The engine is just broken in making a strong 150 psi. Piston, rings, and cylinder are factory clean. The saw came in needing? a primer bulb/line, due to E-85 use and storage..... I have no time to service the fuel system. Do you? You can take the saw away for $75, in the case it lives in. FIRM.
NOTE: Chainsaw NOT available alone. Take the case and saw deal or not.
Please call and leave a message. This is a land-line. NO text; this is a landline.
E-mails are OK if you need chainsaw service....have the model #, ask your questions.....than I'll repair your saw.
. TEXT are a waste of our time...If you are a young guy tethered to your smartphone, buy a beaver.....Good Luck! The Chainsaw Dr.
