We are looking for a warm, experienced and highly reliable nanny to join a private family household on Vancouver Island. A mature, highly experienced career nanny is required.
The eldest child, aged 11, is homeschooled and the younger child, aged 3½, attends a local preschool.
THE ROLE
• Day-to-day care of the children
• Preschool drop-offs and collections
• Activities, outings and age-appropriate entertainment
• Supporting the older child around their homeschool schedule
• Helping maintain the children’s routines
• Working alongside the family and other household staff
• Travel with the family if taking the permanent position

TEMPORARY OR PERMANENT
We are happy to consider someone looking for a temporary position as well as candidates interested in joining the family permanently.
For a permanent nanny, the position will include international travel with the family, including Arizona and the Bahamas.
REQUIREMENTS
• Previous professional nanny/private household experience
• Excellent, verifiable references are essential
• Current criminal record/background check
• Warm, trustworthy, discreet and dependable
• Able to start within the next 5 days
• Driving licence preferred but not essential, as the family has a driver
• For the permanent role, you must be able to travel internationally
• Candidates applying from outside Canada must already hold the correct and valid immigration/work authorisation required to legally work in Canada.
