Found two old pair of LEVI’S Jeans, beat to hell, in the back of a closet and a friend said, not to throw them away, that they had VALUE – even in this condition. I trust her but honestly, I don’t believe it. So, I thought this would be the way to find out. Check the photos and make up your own mind if they have any value to you. I’ll accept offers for 5 days and then sell to the best offer. If it turns out they are worthless, they won’t get offers and I’ll know for sure.
Levis Jeans. Men’s 505 ??? Zipper Fly. SIZE 33/30. Men’s 501 Button Fly SIZE 30/32 or 30 hemmed.
I think they are about 35 years old? Did a little homework online and learned that they can be dated by interpreting tags and labels etc. I tried to take some decent photos to help you decide. Both are VERY Distressed, Really, I mean it.
The Zipper Fly has the Black on Brown Tag above the back pocket which is brittle and torn in half but still attached. The Style number is hard to read but looks like 505. They have a tiny Orange Levi’s tag on the back pocket. They are discolored especially front above the knees. What I would consider major distress (actually torn) located in two places on the right leg front at the knee and near the pocket. And in the rear, under the left back pocket.
The Button Fly has an intact Red on Brown Tag above the back pocket and the tiny Levi’s tag on the back pocket is Red. What I would consider major distress (actually torn) located in the crotch under the buttons and on the back butt next to the left pocket.
