Needed: Three Strong Professional Movers, for office move. $22/hr Start Friday 10/2 9:00am. North Olmsted.
We are moving a 1,300 sq. ft. office to a new location 1.5 miles down the road in North Olmsted. We have a Senior Lead Move Coordinator who will direct, make loading plans, and help move.
We are looking for THREE strong, experienced, and patient Movers capable of handling the physical lifting including office desks and couches and lateral file cabinets, printers, heavy boxes, and other office items and navigating around tight corners, and curved stairwell.
SCHEDULE - Primary Lift / Move Day: Friday, 10/2 Starting at 9am – estimated 6 to 8 hours however work until complete.
Secondary Day (If Needed): Saturday, 10/3 late morning. 1 or 2 movers.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Furniture Moving: Safely navigate desks, couches, credenza, end tables. large filing cabinets, and heavy office equipment around corners, down a curved 2nd-floor stairwell (no elevator).
Heavy Equipment Handling: Moving heavy office furniture, and IT items including a heavy HP 700 printer (200 lbs) on wheels down a curved staircase.
Blanketing & Staging: Wrap ALL items completely and heavily with moving blankets (provided) and secure them on a 1.5 mile truck transfer.
Direction & Discipline: Take clear, real-time direction from the Lead Coordinator (holding, pivoting, or pausing as directed for safety).
Item Sorting: Move furniture items designated for "donation" to a 1st-floor holding room as directed or by sticker labels.
REQUIREMENTS -
Must be physically capable of lifting 75+ lbs repeatedly and safely maneuvering bulk items through narrow, twisting hallways.
Must be reliable, punctual, have experience, and communicate well.
Must bring work gloves (all blankets, dollies, and straps will be provided).
Prior moving experience or labor-intensive experience is required.
