Made by Holland Transplanter Company. This machine was designed for transplanting small vegetable or tree seedlings. A small guide furrow is scratched between two rows to be planted and the front skid is dropped in. The machine then steers itself. One or two operators take their seats, one engages the drive train and the whole unit moves slowly forward. Operators clip seedlings onto the rotating pockets and are planted and the soil packed around the roots. It was specifically designed for onions, celery, tree seedlings, etc. No tractor driver is needed. The unit is in amazing condition.
