Spoiler Alert: I may be seeking a unicorn, but I'm a believer by nature, so here goes...
I'm a former businessman and business owner and now a composer/producer with a pro home studio, seeking a keys or guitar player to co-create a full album of cinematic, melodic rock/pop. Some of the songs arec already written/in progress — I am looking to work live and regularly in my home studio with a real creative partner to help finish and add to them. I'm looking for a collaborator who is fun to work with in a drama free way.
Need:
Plays keys or guitar well, with feel
Prior recording experience and at least basic understanding of DAW recording
Genuinely loves this style of music
Ideally available 4 days/week, weekdays, 4+ hrs/day at my home studio
Reliable, easy to create with
No smokers/drug issues
No pay upfront — this is a true partnership, and you'd share in any earnings from the finished music. In exchange: the joy of creating great music in a comfortable home studio and potential for earnings from licensing of the music (I am a BMI member and have received some royalties in this way already).
Process: Respond to this posting then if it seems there could be a fit we will schedule a Zoom call first to see if there's a fit for both of us. If that goes well we will setup an in person meeting in my studio and hopefully kick the tires on creating together.
