## WHO WE ARE & WHAT WE DO
Pacific Environmental Services Co. (PESCO) is a family-owned **fuel systems general contractor** serving the Pacific Northwest since 1987.
We build, install, repair, and maintain the systems that store and deliver fuel.
Our work ranges from neighborhood gas stations and truck stops to commercial fueling facilities, military installations, aviation and marine fueling systems, and emergency generator fuel systems.
Our projects combine excavation, underground utilities, specialized piping, concrete, heavy equipment operation, and fuel system installation.
This isn't the same jobsite every day, and it isn't just another general labor position. It's an opportunity to develop valuable skills in a specialized construction industry.
## THE TYPE OF WORK WE DO
Our crews perform a variety of specialized construction activities, including:
- **Fuel Station Construction:** Building new gas stations, truck stops, and commercial fueling facilities, along with upgrading existing stations.
- **Fuel Storage Tank Installation:** Excavating, removing, setting, and installing underground and above-ground fuel storage tanks.
- **Fuel Piping Systems:** Measuring, cutting, fitting, bonding, and installing fiberglass and steel fuel piping.
- **Excavation & Site Work:** Trenching, backfilling, grading, compacting, and preparing sites for fuel system installations.
- **Concrete Work:** Demolition, saw cutting, forming, reinforcing, pouring, and finishing concrete.
- **Commercial & Industrial Fueling:** Installing fuel systems for fleets, marine facilities, airports, and emergency generators.
- **Fuel System Repairs & Upgrades:** Repairing, replacing, and upgrading existing fueling equipment and infrastructure.
- **Environmental Services:** Assisting with tank removals, contaminated soil excavation, and site restoration.
Depending on your experience, you may be operating heavy equipment, installing fuel piping, assisting with tank installations, handling materials, or learning specialized skills alongside experienced crew members.
## WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're hiring both experienced tradespeople and motivated entry-level applicants who want to build a career in a specialized industry.
If you have experience in excavation, underground utilities, pipefitting, concrete, mechanical construction, heavy equipment operation, or fuel systems installation, your skills may be a great fit for our team.
**Preferred experience and qualifications include:**
- ICC U1 and/or U2 certifications
- Underground and above-ground fuel storage tank installation
- Fiberglass and steel fuel piping installation
- Excavation, trenching, and underground utilities
- Heavy equipment operation — excavators, backhoes, loaders, and skid steers
- Concrete demolition, forming, and placement
- Mechanical construction and pipefitting
- General construction and jobsite experience
**Entry-Level Laborers & Apprentices**
If you enjoy working with your hands, aren't afraid of hard work, and are interested in learning a skilled trade, we're willing to train you.
You don't need previous construction or fuel industry experience to get started. We value dependability, a strong work ethic, safety, and a willingness to learn.
**ICC certifications and previous fuel industry experience are not required for entry-level positions.**
## THIS IS REAL, HANDS-ON WORK
Our work is physical, sometimes dirty, and performed outdoors in all kinds of weather.
You might be helping set a 20,000-gallon underground fuel tank one week, installing specialized fiberglass piping the next, or working on a commercial fueling facility at a military installation.
We don't expect everyone to know everything on day one.
**We do expect people to show up, work safely, listen, learn, take ownership, and take pride in a job well done.**
If you're dependable, willing to work hard, and want to become part of a crew that builds something important, we'd like to hear from you.
