We are a high-end RV manufacturer located in Nokomis, Florida, looking to add an experienced AutoCAD Draftsperson to our Engineering Department. Our company has been family-owned and operated for over 42 years, designing and manufacturing premium Class B and Class C motorhomes on a variety of Ford and Mercedes-Benz cutaway chassis. One of the things that sets our company apart is the amount of work we perform in-house at our Nokomis manufacturing facility. Our team handles nearly every aspect of the manufacturing process, including cabinetry, fiberglass body fabrication, upholstery, electrical and plumbing systems, exterior bodywork and paint, final assembly, and more.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented draftsperson to work as part of our Engineering Department. This position will primarily involve creating, updating, and maintaining engineering drawings and technical documentation used throughout our manufacturing process.
Due to the variety of components we design and manufacture in-house, this position offers the opportunity to work on many different aspects of RV design and production rather than focusing on one repetitive type of drawing.

Typical drawings and documentation may include:
• Cabinet and interior component designs
• Electrical schematics
• Plumbing layouts
• Cut-location and dimensional technical drawings
• Component and assembly drawings
• Manufacturing and production documentation
• Revisions and updates to existing engineering drawings
• Other CAD drawings needed to support new production and manufacturing concepts

Requirements:
• Previous AutoCAD or DraftSight experience is required
• Experience with eCabinets and/or SolidWorks is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and dimensional accuracy
• Comfortable working with computers and standard programs such as Microsoft Office
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with Engineering and Production personnel
• Manufacturing, automotive, marine, RV, cabinetry, or similar drafting experience would be beneficial

Schedule:
Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM W/ 30-minute lunch: 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM

Compensation:
This is an hourly position with pay based on experience and qualifications along with a quarterly bonus.
