We are seeking enthusiastic English Game Localization and LQA (Language Quality Assurance) Testers to join our team in delivering popular console and mobile games to players worldwide!
No prior localization experience is required—our team will support you step-by-step as you get started. This is a great opportunity to utilize your language skills in a global, fast-growing environment.
[Job Description]
You will be responsible for English localization and quality assurance for games distributed to a global audience.
Translate, localize, and culturalize Japanese game text into English, ensuring natural expressions for overseas players.
Review and proofread pre-translated game content to check for language quality, typos, and unnatural phrasing.
Communicate with team leads in Japanese regarding task progress and updates.
[Requirements]
English: Native or native-level proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking).
Japanese: JLPT N3 level or higher (Intermediate / ability to communicate with project leads in Japanese).
PC Skills: Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Location: Must currently reside in the Greater Tokyo Area (Kanto region).
[Preferred Qualifications]
JLPT N1 certificate holders are strongly welcome.
A passion for gaming (console/mobile) and an interest in localizing digital content.
[Working Period & Schedule]
Period: September 1, 2026 – October 30, 2026 (Weekdays only; subject to extension or changes)
Hours: 10:00 – 19:00 (1-hour break, 8 actual working hours)
Days Off: Weekends and Japanese National Holidays
