Paramo #4 Machinist Vice - $260 (nipomo)
QR Code Link to This Post
From the early 1940’s and made from malleable steel with 4” jaws, weighing approximately 50#. It has been totally restored.
This vintage Paramo No. 4 is a heavy-duty machinist’s bench vise manufactured in Sheffield, England by F. Parramore & Sons. This is a rare swivel base as most of these were produced with a fixed base. Paramore took over production of the Record Vice company during WWII when the government gave them the specs to insure these vices would continue to be made for the war effort if the Record factory was destroyed.
These were never officially imported into the States and are priced by collectors here.
