Looking for an experienced small engine mechanic for temporary part-time work.
Professional small-engine repair experience is required. This is not an entry-level position or intended for someone whose experience is primarily working on their own equipment as a hobby.
Work includes carburetor cleaning/rebuilding, fuel system repairs, pull cord/recoil repairs, tune-ups, troubleshooting, and other minor small-engine repairs. Most equipment needs relatively straightforward repairs to get it running properly and ready for sale.
Must be able to diagnose and complete repairs efficiently with minimal supervision.
Approximately 20–30 hours per week for 2–3 weeks, with a flexible schedule.
Pay: Up to $30/hour depending on experience.
Retired mechanics and experienced technicians looking for temporary work are welcome.
Please respond with previous mechanic employment, years of experience, type of equipment worked on, and availability.
Principals only. Recruiters, please don't contact this job poster.
