Systems Resource Management, Inc. (SRM) is seeking a Logistics Analyst to support Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) MILSATCOM programs supporting the Navy Multiband Terminal (NMT) and Submarine Electronics Support Integration Facility (SESIF).
The Logistics Analyst will provide day-to-day product support and logistics services for technical and engineering activities. This position will support the receipt, inspection, tracking, shipment, storage, and accountability of government and program hardware. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, logisticians, government personnel, and other program stakeholders to maintain accurate asset records and ensure material is properly documented and moved throughout its lifecycle.
Primary Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
• Receive and inspect incoming MILSATCOM equipment and other program assets to verify condition, configuration, and completeness.
• Document equipment deficiencies and coordinate additional inspection or testing when required.
• Prepare shipping and receiving documentation, including DD Form 1149
• Coordinate and support packaging, handling, storage, transportation, and receipt of government and program-owned equipment including CAT 3 crane and a forklift.
• Support shipments involving classified material, hazardous material, and other controlled assets in accordance with applicable procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory, configuration, and asset accountability records.
• Support inventory management, update logistics and configuration status and accounting entry data to track hardware assets, engineering changes, field changes and upgrades using Catalog, Order, Logistics, Tracking System (COLTS).
• Maintain supporting documentation for equipment receipts, shipments, repairs, inspections, and inventory actions.
• Coordinate with technical teams to ensure logistics records accurately reflect the current condition and configuration of program assets.
• Assist with inventory reviews, reconciliation efforts, and resolution of asset discrepancies.
• Prepare inputs for recurring program reports, including Monthly Status Reports, Request for Information (RFI) reports, repair reports, receipt inspection reports, and other logistics documentation as required.
• Maintain organized electronic records and supporting documentation on government information systems and shared drives.
• Perform additional logistics and program support activities as required to support NMT and SESIF operations.
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
• An Active Secret security clearance
• A bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience.
• OR a High School Diploma and 4 years of experience
• Experience supporting logistics, supply, inventory management, asset management, shipping/receiving, or configuration management activities.
• Experience preparing and maintaining shipping, receiving, inventory, or property accountability documentation.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assets, records, and logistics actions simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records in a government or regulated environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Ability to communicate effectively with government customers, engineers, logistics personnel, and other program stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative technical team.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical
• Ability to certify compliance with a CAT 3 crane and a forklift
Preferred Qualifications
Additional desired skills and experience:
• Previous experience supporting U.S. Navy, DoD, or NUWCDIVNPT programs.
• Experience with COLTS or similar government logistics and asset-management systems.
• Experience with DD Form 1149 or other DoD shipping and property documentation.
• Experience handling Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), Government Furnished Property (GFP), or other accountable government assets.
• Familiarity with MILSATCOM, communications, electronics, or other military hardware.
• Experience coordinating classified, hazardous material, or controlled equipment shipments.
• Familiarity with configuration management, engineering change processes, repair tracking, or field modification activities.

• Hourly rate: $36.00 - $38.50 per hour, based on experience
