Beta 25 marine engine, based on Kubota diesel. 3 cylinders, fresh water cooled, 25 horsepower. Includes Hurth transmission, control panel with complete instrumentation, 4 NEW flex mounts, 70 amp alternator with flat belt drive. The engine is complete, ready to install and run.

It is ideal for a 30 to 39 foot sailboat, or small launch.

I sold this engine new in 2011, and just bought it back after 425 operating hours.

NEW PARTS that were installed are listed below.

oil and fuel filters
impeller
complete "on engine" wiring harness
zinc
4 flex mounts

The heat exchanger core was removed for cleaning then reinstalled with new O rings. The 70 amp alternator was professionally inspected and tested, it works as designed.

This is an excellent running engine, with no strange noises and NO blowby. A NEW Beta 25 sells for $12,000. SAVE THOUSANDS with this slightly used engine.
