We are looking for an experienced Field Manager / Project Coordinator to oversee installation crews and manage projects at various job sites throughout New York City.
The ideal candidate must have strong carpentry, field measurement, and construction project management experience. This is a field-based position requiring travel between multiple job sites.
Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate installers at multiple NYC job sites
Take accurate field measurements for cabinetry, millwork, and installations
Verify dimensions and site conditions before fabrication and installation
Read and understand architectural drawings, shop drawings, and plans
Coordinate projects between installers, job sites, and the office
Monitor installation progress, quality, and scheduling
Troubleshoot field, measurement, and installation issues
Perform quality-control inspections
Document job-site conditions with measurements, notes, and photos
Communicate professionally with installers, contractors, building personnel, clients, and the office
Ensure projects are completed correctly and on schedule
Requirements:
Field measurement experience is REQUIRED
Carpentry experience is REQUIRED
Construction project management or field supervision experience
Ability to read plans and accurately measure field conditions
Experience managing installers or construction crews
Cabinetry, millwork, kitchen installation, or finish carpentry experience strongly preferred
Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
Must be dependable and able to work independently
Must have reliable transportation
Must be able to travel to various job sites throughout NYC
