VOLUNTEERS NEEDED AT BETTY’S PLACE 💕
Betty’s Place is a new community-centered curated thrift, consignment, and custom retail shop, and we could use a few good hands to help us get the doors open and keep the shop running.
Betty’s Place is named in honor of my grandmother, Betty, a woman who loved beautiful things, butterflies, fashion, and the kind of community where people looked out for one another. The store carries that spirit forward. We’re creating an affordable, welcoming place where beautiful clothing and special finds can have another life, while building something that belongs to and serves our community.
We need volunteers in two areas:
Store Setup: Help us prepare Betty’s Place for opening. Organizing inventory, setting up displays, hanging pictures and décor, and getting the shop ready. If you’re handy with a drill or basic tools, wonderful! Handy skills are helpful, but not required.
Shop Volunteers: Help us welcome customers, keep merchandise organized, assist with inventory, and help care for the shop.
Volunteer Hours: Noon to 6 PM
You can volunteer for one full shift or one of two shorter shifts, depending on your availability.
Students are welcome, as well as individuals who are looking for meaningful volunteer opportunities or need volunteer service hours.
This is a community project, and I’m looking for dependable people who would enjoy putting some time, care, and good energy into helping us build Betty’s Place.
