Systems Engineer, Patch Management (Midtown)

Presidio is hiring a Systems Engineer, Patch Management in NYC.

This is a hybrid role.

This role is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of enterprise patch management across Windows and Linux environments, with a strong focus on SCCM, server OS patching, and large-scale patch deployment operations.

 The Systems Engineer will perform monthly, weekly, and ad hoc patching of operating systems and applications through SCCM/Software Center, troubleshoot patch-related issues, execute in-place OS upgrades, and partner with Information Security teams to remediate vulnerabilities and ensure compliance. The position also requires experience with Azure Arc, PowerShell scripting, and enterprise server management to automate processes, improve patching efficiency, and maintain a secure, stable infrastructure.

Requirements:

• SCCM expertise - monthly, weekly, ad-hoc patching of OS & Applications (via Software Center)
• Experience in Windows troubleshooting related to patching
• Experience with in-place OS upgrades
• Experience working with InfoSec teams to remediate servers with missing patches/vulnerabilities
• Experience with Linux operating system
• Experience with Azure Arc
• Experience with PowerShell scripting

Duration: 1 year

Rate: $85hr max – We can offer W2/1099
