I help adults learn practical Mexican Spanish for travel, family, conversation, work, and everyday life—with clear explanations of grammar, pronunciation, and natural expression.
Online Spanish lessons for adults
For travel, conversation, work, relocation, study, or long-term fluency—from beginners through advanced learners.
New-student trial: your first 60-minute online lesson is $15.
Regular rate: $25 for 60 minutes.
More intensive option: $35 for 2 continuous hours.
Lessons can include

Experience
I have taught one-on-one Spanish in New York since 2003, including in homes, universities, schools, and companies. I have helped adult students prepare for exams, job interviews, study abroad, and relocation.
I have prepared U.S. consuls and embassy personnel for Spanish certification exams, and I currently tutor faculty members in Columbia University’s History Department. I have taught more than 1,000 students; references are available on request.
Before teaching full time, I also spent several years in New York in information technology and journalism at The Wall Street Journal / Dow Jones.
Availability
I work with regular students and keep a flexible schedule for serious new learners. We can usually find a time on weekdays or weekends, mornings, afternoons, or some evenings.
I also speak everyday Italian. If Italian is your first language, we can use it when helpful to clarify points and take advantage of the similarities between Italian and Spanish.
