Hello! Drew here, filmmaker based in New York City. I am working on a documentary about one of my closest friends who is extremely flatfooted and generally uncomfortable in his own skin. In an effort to overcome this, we want to put him in dance lessons and document his progress. I am looking for individuals with dance and instruction backgrounds in any form of dance, the idea is to try a lot of different genres and see what sticks!
The studio would be provided of course. This is a completely independent production that is self financed, but happy to find an hourly rate that is comfortable!
Please reach out if you are interested in teaching dance on camera! We can find studios almost anywhere but most shooting will take place in Manhattan or Brooklyn. This may be a recurring role over the course of a year.
