Need Help Finding "Third Party Administrator" for Investments (New York)

A relative has passed away, who left certain (very old) investments that currently have no beneficiaries listed on them (if, indeed there are any beneficiaries to begin with. But I need to know one way or the other). Are you a smart financial sleuth who can find out who the "Third Party Administrator" of these investments might be?
