Community Relocation Group (CRG) is hiring Moving & Relocation Specialists for a residential relocation project at 2029 2nd Avenue in Harlem, Manhattan.
STARTING PAY: $18.00/HOUR

ABOUT THE POSITION
CRG is looking for motivated, reliable, and hardworking Moving & Relocation Specialists to join our team.
This position involves providing residential relocation services, assisting residents with their household moves and related relocation needs. This is a centrally located, site-based position, with all work performed on the property.
The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, comfortable working directly with residents, and able to perform physical work in a fast-paced environment.
We are hiring immediately and are looking for qualified candidates who are available to start as soon as possible. Paid training is provided, with opportunities for career advancement within CRG.
SCHEDULE
* Monday through Saturday, with schedules based on project needs
* Typical hours are 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
* Employees will be scheduled for assigned shifts within the project schedule
* Occasional work may extend beyond regular hours based on project needs
* Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Safely pack and wrap household items to prevent damage
* Assist residents with relocation activities on the property
* Move furniture, boxes, and other household belongings safely and efficiently
* Assist with unpacking and organizing residents’ belongings when needed
* Assemble and disassemble furniture as needed
* Communicate professionally and respectfully with residents
* Ensure residents’ needs are addressed throughout the relocation process
* Follow directions from CRG supervisors and site management
* Maintain a professional and respectful attitude when interacting with residents and team members
* Work effectively as part of a team to complete daily assignments
* Follow all company safety procedures and policies
QUALIFICATIONS
* At least 2 years of experience working for a licensed moving company
* Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Reliable, punctual, and dependable
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Professional and respectful when interacting with residents
* Ability to follow directions and complete assigned tasks efficiently
* Willingness to participate in paid training
* Ability to work occasional extended hours when required by the project
