The Playwright Celtic Pub is hiring an experienced line cook for our restaurant near Times Square in New York City. We’re looking for a reliable, organized cook who works well with a team and can keep quality and consistency high in a busy kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
- Set up and maintain an organized, clean station
- Keep pace during busy service while communicating with the kitchen team
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and storage procedures
- Help with prep and kitchen closing duties
Requirements
- Previous line cook experience in a professional kitchen
- Strong communication and time management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working as part of a team
- Flexible availability for [days/evenings/weekends—edit as needed]
Pay: based on experience
