(42" is the fixed side)
the 27" changes when leaves are up or added.

one leaf up: table is now 44.5" x fixed 42"
both leaves up: table is now approx: 63.25" x fixed 42"
each additional leaf (there are 2) are approx 10" wide.....
so... when you add both.... the overall table is approx: 83.5" x 42"
(hope this makes sense)

i have never seen a drop leaf table this large....
