We're seeking an exceptional **General Manager** to lead our chef-driven, upscale casual restaurant in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. Home to one of the city's most established brunch destinations, we're entering an exciting new culinary chapter under **Michelin-trained leadership**, elevating every aspect of the guest experience while staying true to our approachable, energetic style.
We're looking for a leader who understands that outstanding hospitality doesn't require a fine dining setting—it requires professionalism, anticipation, consistency, and genuine care for every guest.
### What We're Looking For:
* 5+ years as a General Manager in a high-volume, upscale casual restaurant
* Extensive wine knowledge (Sommelier or WSET certification is a plus)
* Strong understanding of elevated hospitality and **Steps of Service (SOS)**
* Experience leading one of the busiest parts of the business—**high-volume brunch**
* Practices refined **silent service** and teaches it to every member of the team
* Proven experience executing private events, corporate functions, and full restaurant buyouts
* Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
* Solid financial acumen, including labor management, inventory, food & beverage cost controls, and P&L accountability
* Leads by example, coaches relentlessly, and holds teams accountable while building a positive culture
### Responsibilities:
* Lead all daily operations while being highly visible on the dining room floor
* Recruit, mentor, and develop an exceptional hospitality team
* Deliver unforgettable guest experiences from brunch through dinner
* Oversee an elevated wine and beverage program
* Execute flawless private events and restaurant buyouts
* Drive revenue while maintaining operational excellence and profitability
* Ensure every guest leaves wanting to return
