KITCHEN EXPEDITOR POSITION -- Hourly, Weekdays, Weekends
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure that all food orders are prepared correctly and in a timely manner.
Ensure that all food orders are complete and accurate before they are delivered to customers.
Communicate with servers and other restaurant staff to ensure that food orders are delivered to the correct tables.
Monitor the progress of food orders and ensure that they are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
Ensure that all food items are properly labeled and stored in the correct location.
Assist with cleaning and organizing the kitchen and dining areas as needed.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience working in a restaurant or food service environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to bend, stoop, and reach
DISHWASHER POSITION --- Hourly, Weekdays, Weekends
Responsibilities:
Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
Assist with kitchen prep work such as chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, or portioning ingredients.
Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers.
Sweep and scrub floors.
Stock supplies such as food or utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars.
Assist with other kitchen duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical Demands: The Dishwasher will be required to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds. The Dishwasher will also be required to bend, stoop, and reach frequently.
Work Environment: The Dishwasher will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with exposure to hot and cold temperatures, sharp objects, and potentially hazardous chemicals. The Dishwasher will be required to wear protective clothing and equipment as needed.
